Doctoral Project Mentorship
I provide mentorship for doctoral nursing students completing practice change and evidence-based practice projects.
As a doctorally prepared nurse practitioner, I support future nurse leaders who are implementing meaningful improvements in clinical practice, quality improvement, and patient outcomes.
Students seeking a project mentor or preceptor are welcome to submit an inquiry for consideration.

Dr. Aquilla Battle, RN, DNP, FNP-C, is a Doctoral Family Nurse Practitioner and educator with over two decades of healthcare experience. Beginning her academic journey with a GED, she advanced from Certified Nursing Assistant to earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, a path that fuels her passion for mentorship, access, and representation in healthcare.Her vision is to build stronger nurses and healthier communities through structured support, education, and opportunity.
